A great all-round service We were pleasantly surprised to look round Eco Fireplaces recently and see their great range of fires and fireplaces. Very knowledgeable staff and a warm welcome, but not pushy. We got fixed up after a good look round with a complete fireplace suite that looks lovely and modern now installed, just the job with the electric fire and at a very competitive price for the suite. Not a big shop, but well worth checking out as lots of choice on two floors. It’s made the lounge in our new house look so much more modern and everyone has complimented it. Thank you all for a good, all-round service. We would definitely recommend a visit.

We had a stove supplied and fitted by Eco fires. They helped us make our choice, making sure the stove met our needs. The fitters were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they were happy to do any extra work needed. Unfortunately we have recently had an issue with the stove, and the manufacturer was unwilling to help. But Eco fires stepped in and rectified the issue for us. It was very kind of them as this was a manufacturing fault. The stove looks amazing once again, and its all thanks to Eco Fires

Had a New Forest electric fire in a media wall fitted last week. Really pleased with how it looks, the joiner made us a bespoke wall for the fire to be fitted in and a plaster came to finish of the job and install the spot lights. The end results is amazing and has really transformed our living room. Thank you

Had my fireplace fitted yesterday and I’m absolutely delighted with it. It looks fabulous. The service was excellent, Wayne in the showroom and Darren and Lee the fitters. They have done a brilliant job and left no mess whatsoever. Highly recommended

Bought an Optimist electric stove and surround which was fitted yesterday. The quality is very good and the guys doing the fitting, were polite and friendly. My one complaint is that they have left 11 bags of rubbish, loose breeze blocks and bricks, remnants of panels and the box the fire came in; on our grass in the back garden. Waited to see if they would come back and clear the rubbish before contacting the shop. So today, spoke to Andy, the manager, who said the rubbish was our responsibility and we should have read the terms on the back of the deposit receipt where waste was mentioned. Sorry, but our deposit receipt has nothing on the back at all and at no point was any reference made about the rubbish by either the shop or the fitters. For the price we paid for the fitting, I think it should have included removal of rubbish to be termed a proper professional job.

I have recently moved and was looking for a gas stove for my new home. I have just had my gas stove and fireplace fitted by Eco Fires. From start to finish an excellent service. Scott in the shop was really great with advice and very patient (I made several changes before I placed the order). The fitters and plasterer were professional, friendly and experts at their job. I’m highly delighted and would definitely recommend Eco Fires for service and quality of workmanship. All I need to do now is decorate.

We recently had an electric fire fitted by eco Fires and Fireplaces. From the outset we were very impressed. Colleen provided excellent advice and her administrative efficiency was superb. The fitting was undertaken by Dave and Shaun who did a magnificent job. It immediately became apparent that the old gas fire, while appearing to be a standard fitting, had been engineered to fit into the restricted opening of a pre-cast flu. What should have been a relatively straightforward job took more time and effort than expected and a good deal of masonry needed to be removed. The use of a very efficient dust extractor combined with highly skilled workmanship and superb organisation ensured that there was minimal disruption and mess. An excellent job and our thanks to all concerned.

Excellent service from the staff in the shop and the installation team everything went so smoothly, on the day of the installation Darren and his team arrived spot on time and stayed late to finish the installation the plasterer came few days later to finish the job they have made a fantastic job. We have recently had 2 stoves fitted by Eco Fires & Fireplaces and the whole service from start to finish was brilliant. Scott was really friendly and helpful (and patient) when advising us on which products would be best for us and providing us with quotes for different options. Overall we felt that everything was really good value. Ian and Darren who did our installation were first class. They were really friendly and polite whilst being professional, efficient and tidy. They provided us with lots of information on how best to look after our stoves, they are very knowledgeable guys. Our installation was finished by Jamie who did the plastering. He was also friendly and accommodating. Overall we are really please with our purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

I had visited other showrooms but when I entered this showroom it felt like a place which paid attention to detail and which looked good for those like me who were prospective customers. I had thought about this purchase for a long time and I was pretty sure I knew what I wanted. I talked with Andy who showed me the options I could have for my home and he made some enquiries for me while I was in the shop. This week, my new fire was installed. My room was totally protected with dustsheets and at the end of the day, although there had been some knocking out, I was left with no mess or dust to clear up. Unfortunately the brass front did not fit my new fire but within hours this was sorted out. I am so pleased with this new focal point in my sitting room. It makes my room cosy and my friends will enjoy it with me as well as the cat!

Delighted with replacement gas fire. However, service from shop and fitter left much to be desired. The shop ordered the wrong colour surround to the fire, ok we all make mistakes, but I was expected to take wrong surround back to shop and pick up and fit new surround. The fitter did a good job, but attitude was poor. For the price paid for his services I would expect a much better service. I would be reluctant to use this shop again.

We had visited the showroom some time ago and had then been impressed with the layout and presentation of items for purchase and particularly with the efficient and friendly attention we received even though we made no purchase at that time. We were, therefore, glad to be back again this month and to find everything as before. We received straightforward answers to our enquiries and all the information we needed. The result was a purchase of a Broseley Lincoln Electric Stove. This product was available for collection from the showroom within 10 days of the order being placed. From first entering the shop up until the final installation of our gas stove the service was first class. In the shop Scott was polite, friendly and efficient providing valuable advice and a sale was easily concluded upon which we were then fully informed in relation to the process of the installation. The very next day we received a site visit from Richard and within a week Richard’s team of Alan and Connor arrived and proficiently completed the installation, leaving no sign of their visit only a shiny new fire in the fireplace. Both were great characters and made the day of the installation as pleasant as they possibly could. The following morning Richard paid a final visit, checking that we were fully satisfied and offering advice on cleaning and servicing. All round a great experience and we would recommend ECO.
